This Level 1 Award Health and Safety in a construction environment qualification is aimed at learners who currently work, or want to work, in the  construction industry. Successful completion will enable you to move on to take the CITB health, safety and environment test for operatives, and then apply for the Construction Skills Certificate Scheme (CSCS) Green Card. This card allows access to construction sites in the UK as a Labourer.

How does the online training and exam work?

  • Our online training is provided through video with short progress modules. Once you have completed the course you will ready for the online exam.

  • The online exam can be taken on a laptop with a camera in a suitably location. Your activity on the screen and via the webcam is recorded during the whole exam. You will need to provide suitable ID to prove your identity.

  • The Level 1 exam is only delivered in English.
